10am in the morning, I look at the calender on my office table~> it's 13 March 09 (Friday) Hurray~ I no need come to office for tomorrow & the day after tomorrow :)

Can balik kampung lor like this...then so sudden, I see the calender again, eh...it's Friday the 13th

Everything work smoothly in office today~ it should be a lucky day for me :)

Unfortunately~ I am not so lucky enough on the way return home from the office.

I was caught by PoLiCeMeN ~ stop by road side which just 1km away from my house in Klang

Oh...disaster~ "Saman" is given by policeman & charge me because of answering phone without using handfree during driving~

nearly 5 months of working ; 6 yrs of driving ~ finally i get the 1st saman~

thinking of settle on the spot? haha.. :) I very hate to do such thing! especially just teach them to do so on others

you can say me stupid, BUT I don't think feeding them & indirectly tell them it's the correct way to earn some eXtra income by doing this~

ArgHh.... if not mistaken it at least will cost me RM200 for this saman~ at least! :(

it's -15 degree Celsius & snowing for the last day at KOREA~ freaking cold In the begining of year 2009~

i was in factory dormitory for 1 week with KIMCHI for meals everyday...

3 nites with "so jiu" & Korea BBQ dinner with KIMCHI again! aiks...~
working alone in Kor3@ is very lonely & definitely miss M'sia foods~tedious week

It’s 4.30am early Friday m0rning, I force to wake up so early just b’cos I need goto Pg from Klang & returns within 1 day time.

When I get this order from abov3, my mind is totally blank~ it’s so sudden~ it’s 5pm, just 1 hr b4 I leave my office on Thursday. Aih.. what to do, order is an order, somemore it’s urgent case.
Well, it’s 5am morning on Friday, I reach my company to fetch 2 workers go along.

5.00am – Depart from Klang to Penang
5.07am – Shapadu Toll
7.39am – Plus Highway – Ipoh
9.06am – Juru Toll, Penang

6hrs at customer place

3.21pm – Juru Toll, Penang
5.38pm – Plus Highway – Ipoh
6.48pm – Shapadu Toll

Finally 7pm reach Klang.Tedious 14 hrs journey~I hope there will no such business trip for the future :(

(P/S: almost can't get petrol station to refill the petrol all the way to customer place, red light of fuel indicator is lighted for 15km distance! what a relieft after i found a petrol station in small kampung..huh...)

My previous visit to this coff33 shop was N~y3@rs ago……. Coursemates & I were studied at here for upcoming eXam~

Anyhow this place remains the same~
Playing the smooth music/songs whilst the odour of blended coffee… so relaxing :P

It’s suppose the most PuBlic HoLidays (PB) in Dec. Indeed, It’s happy & enjoyable. BUT it’s not very goOd; MAYBE just For M3 ONLY…

“Since I’m new comer in current company, with the new probation period ~6months dude! Ya! It’s true! 6months!!! = HALF of a YEAR. Try to imagine, within this 6 months you have no Annual Leave; Paid leave. Wholly shXt….. it’s doesn’t make sense, dude!”

December->Jan-> Feb-> Mar-> Apr -> May (6months)

Lots of PB in Dec which falls on Thursday, which means working day as usual on Fri. BUT~ I don’t even have the chance to get Annual Leave/Paid Leave on 26th Dec (Friday) BUT “UNPAID LEAVE”. There’re less than 3ppls working at the same department on that day.

Hello~ come on ~ work it out, dude!
Can’t I have benefits as others? At least, there is at least 3days Advance Leave (AL) / Paid Leave (PL) for me btw these 6 months~ It’s not too ov3r , RITE? I get none, I only can apply for UNPAID LEAVE!

argGhhH….it doesn’t make sense! Well, let say I forget abt the x’mas on 25th Wed, how abt the upcoming Chinese N3w Year?

Which is very IMPORTANT for ME as a Chinese living in M’sia. Can you imagine YOU just have 2days to enjoy that meaningful festival together with yr parents? After that, you need to return to office on the 3rd day of CNY. “Wah Lao eh~ totally pathetic!”

Ya, it’s true I still can apply unpaid leave (UL) BUT it’s doesn’t make sense for me staying at office as well. I have nothing to do, most of them taking their leaves as well. I might be the ONLY ONE in orange/yellowish/brown colours skin sitting in the office, while others enjoying HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR. In contrast, I’m “ENJOYING” the boring day in the office without meaningful task; meaning~LESS CNY for me!

18/11/08 - 11.45pm flight to Seoul, Korea by Korean Air

@ sudden call/email from Korea customer which need to solve ASAP...tat's y my manager & me need goto Korea ASAp...Frankly speaking~ the stewardess in Korean Air are slim & pretty BUT doesn't meant they didn't go for plastic surgery b4, since it's a very common thing in Korea. :P

19/11/08 - 8am Seoul Incheon International Airport

~ freaking coLd & fr3sh air, it was -7 Celsius outiside the airport ~ unbelievable (the weather is unusual, b'coz previous year at the same date, it still around 10 Celsius) BUT the winter came early for this season.... it's the 1st time i saw the real snOw around the floor.

In order to reach the customer's factory, It took 1 hr drive from airport to Gwangmyeong train station, then another 1h40mins ride -> Iksan. Finally, another 15minutes taxi ride to the factory. Truely a tired journey.

Anyhow, the machine in the factory can say are 90% automatic, only need a few of workers. The size of the factory is 15x bigger than my current working place.Since the economy is not so healthy, the korean customer experience decreasing in their order from oversea as well as local.

After gathering some technical informations & some assistance, it's time for dinner. Opps....KimChi again? oh..no...from all the way i came and the way i return from Korea, KimChi is served every single place, even the last meal on the flight returns to M'sia.

One thing that I would like to share about is the korea liquor
~ 燒酒 ~ Soju ~ 소주

~nice taste with pretty girl packaging & it's 19.5% of alcohol

~koreans like it so much, keep "yam seng" with me

~luckily the delicious korean style BBQ & vege that slow down the pace of drinking...

Wow…its enD of November, finally I got my 1st salary as Process Engineer (1st job) in a factory, Klang-Selangor. Sound professional isn’t it? Lolz… Tell you what~ Nowadays, even a salesman position is rename as sales executive or even sales engineer as well. So what do you think? No matter what position we’re, we are always a worker in @ COMPANY ONLY~ :P

(P/S : What to do? Don’t blame ur life is not good as others. Don’t Complaints! BUT you can blame/think that y u cannot be @ boss by urself Kaka..lolz)

I think most of my friends or relatives will ask me that “Huh? Process engineer? I tot you Studied in Biology & Chemistry field…. Don’t you find a job likes Chemist, Microbiologist, Lab Technicians, Bio/Chem equipments sales executives & etc…………”

Dear Sir/Madam, I wish I am the lucky person who can get the desire job that is related to my studied field~ Anyhow, I’m bless that I can get current jobs in 1 month time, somehow I’m satisfy with my current job :) even it just relate 10-20% of chemistry & 0% of biology.

Ya, there are some jobs that offer 2.5K for fresh grad~ but it’s not the field I was studied. As I heard, any degree holders will offer 2.5K as a teller in certain banks. I believe it’s true, but unfortunately I’m not interested. I understand even if I apply for that position, I might not shortlisted for the position :)

W3LL…I have course mates/friends that involve in sales line, definitely the basic salary is normal range, but once you hit the specific sales targets then you will get higher paid for that month.

*Suggestion to those who want to get higher salary after graduate~ sales lines definitely the right choice! It’s true~ don’t hesitate~ Just Do It, Impossible is Nothing ~ familiar slogan for certain sport brands ya? :P

Since the Economy is not in healthy condition, I think once you’re offer a job that you feel that’s okay. Why don’t just go for it? You never try; U wouldn’t know ~ does the job suite U? When you start to accept the job, u can test Ur task performance & your working limitation thru experience the job environment.

Don’t think the salary is too low / low: Range 1.5k-2K is a basic range for fresh grad with degree in science field. Think of what c@n you perform for the company, since you just a fresh grad/beginner in working society. The main thing is to gain the working experience. Keep searching high paid or famous company with good benefits are as hard as break 20pairs of chopsticks with your both hands.

Ya, it’s true there’re a lots of such company in the market, but will they consider you? Think the probability~ :P anyway sound like I am scolding other peoples. Indeed, I’m but it’s better to awake those peoples’ mind than let them continue like flies flying in the air. (Sorry if I’m using wrg descriptions; u may agree / disagree what I had mentioned) :P
